Abstract

This study was developed aim to proposing an electric power supply system using photovoltaic panels to feeding the pump of a production system called Sisteminha Embrapa, located at Federal University of the São Francisco Valley, in Juazeiro, Bahia, it is used as a university extension project. In this way, a brief approach was taken about the main topics, as well a presentation of the relevant theoretical concepts needed. Still, Inventor software was used to propose a physical support structure that contemplated the project particularities, that is, it could be used as support for the photovoltaic modules and still protect other components. According to the electric demand of the hydraulic pump and the required operation time, a consumption 21.6 kWh/month was estimated. Finally, the sizing was carried out, using mean solar irradiance data, and practical installation of the photovoltaic-electric apparatus.
