Abstract

The field of Psychology has undergone many transformations and different areas of activity have developed. In this way, Psychology training courses have the scope to develop skills, so it is advantageous for students to acquire knowledge extracurricularly. In connection with this, the Interest Groups have emerged with the intention of discussing and developing pratical activities based on teaching, research and extension, contributing to the training of qualified future professionals. Thus, the purpose of this descriptive and qualitative experience report study is to describe the trajectory of the Neuropsychology Interest Group of a private institution of Pernambuco during 2020 to 2022, describing its constitution, highlighting its organization and execution of activities, as well as presenting the effect that an Interest Group has within the undergraduate course, emphasizing the impact and improvement of skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving.
